A "cookie" is a small piece of data that your browser receives from websites you visit, and which is stored as a file on your hard drive.
Cookies are ofte necessary to make a website work, others to give you a good user experience, for example remembering if you are logged in to my course portal, or to analyze website traffic.
When you use our website, we want to process as little personal information as possible.
And because I truly honor your privacy, I stopped using Google Analytics a while ago (when I realized how much data about my website visitors I was sharing with them, that they again use for their own ad purposes and also sell to the highest bidder...).
Still, I run a business and website insights are important.
So after carefully considering three alternatives, I chose Fathom Analytics, to safeguard your privacy in the best possible way. And because they're awesome (who doesn't like a privacy-focused startup fighting to improve privacy globally!).
How long cookies are stored on your device may vary. The retention period is calculated from the last time you visited the website. The cookie is automatically deleted when it's set to expire. See below for a complete list of the duration of the various cookies used on this website.
Since we use Kajabi as a website provider, it says "Powered by Kajabi" at the bottom right of all pages under the website. If you click on this link, a so-called "affiliate cookie" is placed in your browser, which lasts for 30 days.
If you buy Kajabi within this period, and the cookie is still active in your browser, Bedre Bedrift AS will receive a commission on the sale. We cannot disable this cookie. 🙄
Sometimes I share such links (with such cookies) on my own initiative, for example in blog posts or on email. I always tell you when I share such links, so you fully understand that the link is sponsored. I also give you a link to the same content, without a tracking code (cookie).
PS: You can often reveal such affiliate links yourself by looking at the URL, that often has several characters and numbers after the URL itself. Here is my affiliate link to Kajabi: https://app.kajabi.com/r/kLqcPcis, but the usual one is https://kajabi.com/ Everyone using such links should be transparent about it (and in many countries, it's legally required). If they don't, one can only wonder why. 🤨
Below you can see which cookies are used on this website, as of July 2020. I don't use targeted marketing/advertising via cookies on my website.
All cookies are set by my website and course portal provider, Kajabi, and are part of the site's functionality (that I can't disable).
